Occupational Therapy can help your child develop the skills they need to grow into functional, independent adults.

Your child’s “occupation” is to PLAY! At our clinic, through the use of play, our therapists target individualized goals for fine motor skills, age appropriate self-care skills, primitive reflex integration, addressing feeding/eating concerns, sensory integration, and so much more! 

Total Pediatrics Feeding Program

The feeding program at Total Pediatrics is unique and customized to your child’s needs. Targeting picky eaters and problem feeders, our therapists are highly trained in many approaches to avoid the one-size-fits-all approach that is commonly used. Our interdisciplinary team will target motor, sensory, and behavioral systems to ensure the most effective intervention for your child.

 

 At Total Pediatrics, our Occupational therapists are nationally and state board certified to target your concerns regarding:

  • Activities of Daily Living (utensil use, dressing, toileting, etc.)
  • Social Interactions/Social Skills
  • Prematurity
  • Fine Motor Concerns (use of hands, grasp patterns, handwriting, etc.)
  • Hand-Eye Coordination
  • Visual Motor/Visual Perception
  • Feeding/Eating Concerns (Texture/Oral aversions, gagging, choking, vomiting, oral motor processing/skills, picky eating, managing/transitioning from NG/G-Tubes, etc.)
